How is the fit?
Dang.
I've had this aquamarine crystal for over 5 years. Aquamarines can form in columnar crystal formations- this is one of them! And it has what I think is the start of a black tourmaline star on the top. The way the light intercepts the different parts of the crystal it looks like a beacon or an ice tunnel looking up through the bottom.
*Please please please do not introduce this crystal to concrete. Or other hard surfaces. Aquamarine has a high Mohs hardness, around an 8 (diamonds are 10) so these are really good for making jewelry out of. But this does not mean you can't break it. I chose to make this crystal into a necklace because necklaces are more protected by our bodies than say the chaos of being a ring and getting whacked around all day. This necklace can last for generations of contact with human chests, but might not survive encounters with hard surfaces that could snap it.
This is a lariat style necklace- currently 16-18 inches adjustable. I choose this style to enhance the long nature of the crystal. If you want a 'normal' chain put on or the current chain made smaller, leave me a note at checkout!
